Agriocom

AgrioValve - Irrigation controller

Why Smart Irrigation Needs Feedback, Not Assumptions

Irrigation dasboard says
🟢 Valve successfully opened!
You know it because software drew a green icon

What could actually be happening:

• There is no pressure in the pipe
• Pressure is too low to actuate the valve
• Solenoid opened, but the hydraulic part failed
• Solenoid itself failed
• Air trapped in the control line
• Wire disconnected
• Valve opened only partially
• Communication was lost
• Pipe pressure collapsed when multiple valves switched

That’s why Agriocom valve controllers support pressure input connected directly to the valve output.

If pressure after the valve is below the expected value, software shows the alarm.

Dashboards should display reality – not assumptions.

One small detail: when selecting valves for Agriocom controllers, choose models with an output port for installing a pressure sensor.
